Walking along its small sandy path, between wide foliage and two cabin-style constructions, it would seem that you are entering a fantasy world. And although this is not the case, this passage does lead to a new and paradisiacal environment: a beach where comfort, good food and lack of worries reign.
Open since November 2019, the TAGO Tulum hotel combines luxury experiences with a jungle atmosphere, inspired by the destination that houses it.
“We seek comfort, luxury and exclusivity without losing the context of what Tulum is. The attention is very personalized so that you feel at home” Alex Guindi, G Hotels Group CEO
“We seek comfort, luxury and exclusivity without losing the context of what Tulum is. There are 20 rooms and we have almost 70 people, that is, more than 3 people for each room. The attention is very personalized so that you feel at home, ”says Alex Guindi, CEO of the G Hotels Group.
Located in the hotel zone of Tulum, TAGO is the result of extensive renovation work to include new features and attractions.
“The beach club was completely redone and on the beach we added a cenote pool. We also have a gym, sauna, steam and a holistic center for visitors to expand their spiritual practices, ”explains Guindi.
They also work to open a new bar, located next to the reception area, and a sushi bar.
In the rooms, the wide space and the brown color stand out, the latter present in the furniture, wooden ceilings and palm decorations.
The terraces of each room invite you to spend hours reading in your hanging chair, to relax in your small private pool or simply to enjoy the view of the sky, which in the afternoon you can wear a jade green color. If they are located on the ground floor, they also offer access to the beach.
It should not be surprising that after spending a few relaxing minutes, you feel like taking steps to the coast and moving and moving to the cenote pool to continue with the inactivity. Or, if you are looking for a little more movement, take a rich dip in the ocean.
At nightfall, it is the ideal time to lie on a cot and watch the moon rise hesitantly, but splendidly over the calm waters of the Caribbean.
